Jet Cancels Tour Dates
Well it looks like if you're a Jet fan and you have tickets to the Philadelphia or Toronto concert this weekend then you will be waiting until November to rock. Singer Nic Cester has come down with acute laryngitis and has been ordered by doctors to rest for four or five days. Don't worry though, the tour will resume on Tuesday and Jet will still appear on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno as scheduled.
"Canceling shows is not something we take lightly at all," the band released in a statement. "We had to make the tough decision this afternoon to cancel shows in both Philadelphia and Toronto-two cities we have played and loved playing in on numerous occasions. We promise to make these shows up as soon as Nic is recovered and we’re back on the East Coast. Once again, our sincerest apologies to all of our fans. When we return, it will of course be with a vengeance."
