Rod Remakes "Great Rock Classics"

It's that time once again to announce the new release of the week! This week's album is Rod Stewart's new album titled Still the Same: Great Rock Classics of Our Time, and so far it's reviews aren't looking too good.

Many listeners of this new album, including myself, are very dissatisfied with Rod's new work because it isn't his own. This new album is simply a bunch of remakes that Rod believes are the "Great Rock Classics of Our Time" and I'd disagree with him on that as well.

To quote Billboard "Rod Stewart may have began his career as a respected singer, yet that respect eroded as he got older, as he became more concerned with stardom than music." And here were are in the year 2006 and Rod is still getting older and obviously caring less and less about the music based on this new album.
